In the wake of a two billion dollar budget shortfall, the number one goal for improving our state’s economy should be to bring discipline to state government spending. Currently, we have an opportunity to give back to the hard working citizens that help our economy.
Education
For a while the big fad in education was to talk about the three “Rs” – “Reading, wRiting, and aRithmetic.” People said students would learn more effectively if teachers got back to the basics. That may be right – but it’s time for our schools to get back to the basics also.
Infrastructure
